Your data
CaLidar stores meals and scans on your device. When you use the app, it creates a guest account with its own identifier. With a connection, meals and results also sync to Supabase in São Paulo, Brazil. Signing in with Apple, Google or an email code lets you recover your account on another device.
We store your account identifier, the name and email provided at sign-in, foods, portions, calories, dates and scan results. Logged meals may include a photo thumbnail and 3D relief in the cloud copy. Goals and profile measurements stay on your device.
AI analysis
The app asks for permission before your first cloud analysis. The photo and any information about the meal are sent to Google Gemini through OpenRouter to identify foods and estimate portions when needed. Food details and nutrition-table candidates may be processed by Jev (TypeSafe AI), through Vercel or directly by TypeSafe, to select matches. These services may process data outside Brazil.
You can decline and log foods manually. In Settings, you can withdraw permission for future analyses. Withdrawing permission does not delete meals already logged.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Apple Health
With your permission, CaLidar reads your latest weight from the past 90 days. You confirm before using it for goals, which stay on your device. Meals are exported to Apple Health only when you tap Export: calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat. Editing or deleting a meal in CaLidar does not automatically change its Health copy. You control permissions and delete records in Health. This data is not used for advertising or sent to AI services.
Deleting data
Settings › Delete account requests deletion of your account, meals and cloud files. The app confirms when it finishes. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription: manage it in iPhone Settings. See how to delete your account or request help by email below.
